The Neighbors
Three essays, written months apart, form a single argument about records as the medium between agents. They were not written as a series — the doctrine came first, then two incidents proved it from opposite directions — but together they trace one movement: from why records matter, to when a record saves, to where a record stops.
Artifacts not alerts. The record that saved an identity. The record that could not cross. Doctrine → story → boundary. Read them in order; the stories are only legible because the doctrine named what to look for.
